Lab Facilities
ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING LAB
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has well experienced and dedicated faculties. The laboratories are equipped with state-of-the art machines, which have already won the appreciation of the academic committee within a short span of time the following laboratories are available at our department. |
ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS LAB
To provide engineering skills by way of breadboard circuit design with electronic devices and components. To design and analyze various Electronic circuits and digital circuits such as multi-vibrators, Flip- Flop circuits, applications of operational amplifiers, RC coupled amplifiers, oscillators etc.
PROGRAMMING LAB
C programming language is the basic foundation of the other programming languageor developing computer code systems, C is the best programming language. C programming lab will make the students able to think logically to solve the given problems. It can use signal processing algorithms to know the features of microprocessors, microcontrollers, and other integrated circuit projects.
DIGITAL ELECTRONICS LAB
The Digital Electronics Laboratory is a unit of the Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering. Laboratory experiments in digital electronics are study of various logic gates, flip-flops, and counters. To perform rigorous experiments with different types of designs as sequential logic circuits, combinational logic circuits, study of digital CROs, testing of ICs, Realization of truth tables using multiplexers, study and trouble shooting of various digital systems.
MOBILE COMMUNICATION LAB
The main focus is to train the students to design the circuits for transmission and reception of analog and digital signals. Analysis of various analog/digital modulators and de-modulators circuits can be performed. The laboratory is also equipped with advanced trainer kits to learn the concepts of practical communication systems including optical communication, satellite communication etc.
COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING LAB
The essence of any communication system is the generation and reliable detection of signals which carry information over a noisy channel with bandwidth and power limitations. A distinction is usually made between analog and digital communication systems depending on whether the transmitted information in digital or analog form. Most physical channels, such as wires, optical fibers or free-space electromagnetic wave propagation are analog in nature and must use waveforms at their inputs and outputs.
LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS LAB
This lab has experiments related to applications of IC 741, applications of 555 timers, voltage regulation using IC 723, Operation of IC 565 along with data converters. The purpose of this lab is to make the students familiarized with designing, developing and testing various application circuits involving above mentioned ICs, using both software and hardware.
MEASURING INSTRUMENTS AND SENSORS
This Laboratory is equipped with essential instruments which are able to give the understanding of basic principles of measurement systems. Students can understand the measurement of displacement with the help of potentiometer and the output waveform can be viewed by Cathode Ray Oscilloscope. Laboratory is also equipped with digital and analog instruments by which students can understand how digital instruments are more précised and accurate compare to their analog counterpart.
ADVANCED COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS LAB
The communication Systems Laboratory intends to cover the basic understanding of functionalities of various block-sets involved in communication system. It involves system design and simulation exercises using MATLAB and Simulink and experiments based on HW boards.Modern communication systems use digital signal processing to produce baseband waveforms at the transmitter and to process them at the receiver. Analog hardware is then used for modulation and demodulation.
