CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM 

Department of Automobile engineering organized an CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM about “Higher Education and job” on 16/02/2024 by Mr ESWARA MOORTHY DEAN/MECHANICA, ,Mr.SIVAHOD/IT  Mr. R.THIRUNELAGANDAN,HOD/PHYSICS NEC, was invited as a chief guest and addressed the gathering.

MOTIVATION PROGRAM

 Department of Automobile engineering organized aMOTIVATION PROGRAM about“SELFCONFIDENCE”on05.01.2024byMrS.GOKULAKRISHNAN, MrP.KULANDAIVELLECT/AUTO was  addressed the gathering.

OTHER ACTIVITIES - ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAMME(RTO)

•  Road safety Awareness Programme has been conducted at 23/01/2024 and in this    program   220 students and 15 staffs were participated.        
•  Our Chief Guests Mr.R. Sakthivel RTO, Mr.R.Kathirvelu MVI(GR-I)has initially started this program. He gave a speech about the road safety and safe driving to the students and public. He also intimated the effects of drink and drive, violating the traffic rules. He gave the important of wearing helmet.

Our Chief Guests Mr.G.Manuneethi Divisional Engineer Highways,  Mr.B.K.Kathirvel,Mr.P.Kovendan,Mr.S.Saravanan,Mr.A.Suresh kumarhas initially started this  program.. INDUSTRIAL SEMINAR: 

·         The  Department of  Automobile  Engineering  organized a guest lecture program on the topic “ Recent developments in Automobile” in our college on 12.10.23. Mr.Saravanakumar Ambal Training Insitute Inchare Erode, was the resource person. Totally 135 students participated.

ACADEMIC SEMINAR 

Department of Automobile engineering organized an Academic seminarabout “ CREO MODELING” on 10.10.2023 by Mr.SATHISH KUMAR, MANAGER-CADD CENTER ERODE& Mr.GOWTHAM, CADD Engg.,was invited as a chief guest and addressed the gathering.

• Department of Automobile engineering organized an Academic seminarabout “HYBRID VEHICLES” on 28.03.2023 by Mr MOHAMED SHAMURDEEN DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER, ARUN KUMAR.V ASST MANAGER -BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT,TVS TRAINING & SERVICE CENTER CHENNAIwas invited as a chief guest and addressed the gathering.

ASSOCIATION INAUGURAL: 

The association inaugural function was organized on 07/07/2023. MR.ANBAZHAGAN RAJENDIRAN,BOARDMAN,SAUDI ARAMCO TOTAL REFINING & PETROCHEMICALS LTD.,  AI JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA was the resource person and gave a special Guest Lecture and introduced the association members.

WORKSHOP 

·         Department of Automobile engineering organized an ONE DAY WORKSHOPabout “E-VEHICLES” on 28.03.2023 by Mr MOHAMED SHAMURDEEN DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER, ARUN KUMAR.V ASST MANAGER -BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT,TVS TRAINING & SERVICE CENTER CHENNAI, was invited as a chief guest and addressed the gathering.

       STUDENT ACTIVITIES

PAPER PRESENTATION

ü  Sanjay.R III/DAE, Suryaprakash.A.M II/DAE presented a paper on “hybrid Technology “in the state level technical symposium held at Periyar Centenary Polytechnic College Vaikom on 05.09.2023.

ü   D.Bharath ,M.Midhun of III year   Automobile Engineering students presented a paper on “Advanced Hybrid Technology" in the national level technical  symposium held at KSR Polytechnic College Thiruchengode on 28.12.23-29.12.23.

 PROJECTS

ü  Sanjay.R, Dharunkumar.S, M.Arul of  III/DAE, & K.Suba Surya, Suryaprakash.A.M, V.Kalaiyarasan attended their  project titled “ Perpetual Power Genarate” & “Mobile Crane”in the “POLY FIESTA-23” conducted from 28.12.2023 to 29.12.2023 by KSR Institute of Technology & KSR polytechnic College Thiruchengode  .

ü  V.P.Yasvanth kumar ,S.Gowtham, Legith.M, of III/DAE have Participate project titled “Power Generation from Suspension” in the “Project Expo 2k3” on 05.4.23 conducted by Sakthi Polytechnic College.

ü  S.Dharun kumar ,M.Dinesh kumar, Yasir Afroj, of III/DAE have Participate project titled “Grease Dispensing System” in the “Project Expo 2k3” on 05.4.23 conducted by Sakthi Polytechnic College.

SEMINARS :

ü  The Department of Automobile Engineering organized an industrial seminar on the topic  “Recent Trends in Automobile’ on 10.08.23.Mr.Jeyaseelan, Head of Training division,, DMW CNC Training Centre, Perundurai, was the resource person. Totally 190 students participated and got benefited.

ü  The Department of Automobile Engineering organized an industrial seminar on the topic  “Industrial Safety”on 28.07.23. Mr.Mayilsamy Branch Head, Supreme Motors, Erode, was the resource person. Totally 190 students participated and got benefited.

WORKSHOPS :

ü  Aakash.E, Srikrishna.V, Naveen Prasth.S,  Sanjay.A, Madheshwaran.P of III year Suryaprakash.A.M of II year attended one day Workshop program titled “Performance Analysis and Trouble Shooting in Engines” organized by Annai JKK Sampoorani Ammal Polytechnic college Gobi on 27^th Sep 2023..

Internship :

ü  Sanjay.R, YasirAfroj.M, THoufeeqAli.J.S, Dharunkumar.S of III year attended Internship on Cutting Edge program titled “3-D Printing” organized by Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College Coimbatore on 3^rd -5^th  Oct 2023..               

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

• Mr.R.Saravanan HOD/AE along with Mr.S.Gokulakrishnan Sr.Lecturer, Mr.Kulandaivel.P, Mr.M.Seenivasan, Mr.Sathishkumar.J, Kamatchi.M   attened Faculty Development Program titled  “importance of technical science” conducted by Sri Ranganathar Institute of polytechnic college Coimbatore on 14^thOCt 2023.
• Mr.S.Gokulakrishnan Sr.Lect/AE attended faculty development program titled “Institution-Industry Interaction Development” organized by Aquasub Engineering Coimbatore on 7^th Oct 2023..
• Mr.S.Gokulakrishnan Sr.Lect/AE attended 8 weeks Faculty Development Program titled “Advanced Machining Processes” organized by AICE-NPTEL-2023.
• Saravanan R HOD/Auto, Kuladanivel P Lect/Auto, Sathishkumar J,Gokula krishnan S, Kamatchi M, Seenivasan M, SaravanaKumar P,  Lect/Auto, attended one day workshop on E-VehicleTechnology Organized by TVS Training & Service Center Chennai on to 28/03/2023.

ALUMNI ACTIVITIES

Alumni interaction 1

Our department conducted an Alumni interaction on 21/08/2023.This function was addressed by Mr SHANAVAS SITHIC S,Trainer HYUNDAI MOTORS CHENNAI. III Year and II Year students are benefited in this interaction.

Alumni interaction 2

Our department conducted an Alumni interaction on 17/02/2023. This function was addressed by Mr MELBIN TOM, SALES EXECUTIVE BMW,ABUDHABI MOTORS, Abudhabi.III Year and II Year students are benefited in this interaction.

 INDUSTRIAL- INPLANT TRAINING:

 ·         Industrial and In-Plant training is being made compulsory for second and third year students during summer vacations. This not only helps the students in acquiring knowledge about new technologies but also acts as an insight into management aspects. Students are expected to undergo training for a period ranging from 15 days  in an industry and submit a detailed report for evaluation after completion of their training.

PARENTS MEETING:

Our Autodepartment has conducted Parents meeting for I& II & III Year AutomobileStudents on 23/02/2024. Totally 124 parents have visited in that parents meeting. 

INDUSTRIAL VISIT:

• Our students were encouraged with industrial knowledge by visiting the company NEXA service center Erode. Totally 82 students and 5faculty members visited the company on 13/10/2023. 

TOUR: 

Our department has organized one-day tour for kerala. They have visitedChottaniKaraiBagavathiAmman Temple, Hill palace museum, DJ boating Beach, LuLu mall on 24/03/2023.

FACULTIES INDUSTRIAL VISIT:

 Our Nandha Polytechnic College 48 Faculties visited , MADUPATTY TEA FACTORY,MUNNAR 15/09/2023. In that  event 9 faculty members from our department.
