Cafeteria
Nandha Institutions have a spacious canteen at each of its campus. At the canteen, dishing out menus are highly popular among students as well as staffs. Students enjoy their food in the clean, well maintained, aesthetic and appetising atmosphere. Most people fondly remember their college canteen as one of their life’s high points. It is the place where they keep their creative juices flowing with hot discussions, chewing ideas, exchanging and sharing strongly held opinions and eatables.
Kitchen staff takes care to provide the students and staff a nutritious and hygienic food at our campus canteens. A variety of hygienic food and snack items includes South and North Indian Meals, Variety Rices, Tandoori, Chat, Chinese Foods, Cakes, Fresh Juices, Fruits, Ice Creams gallore the menu.
Canteen has become a welcome break for both the students and staffs and is the daily hob-nob after college hours. Frequently, the discussions get animated as students pet theory is challenged and legs are pulled playfully.
The canteen is the lifeblood of the students. The homely atmosphere and aroma of delicious food permeates the air as they eat, drink and chat. It remains a focal place of the students for rest and refreshment.
Menus of different varieties for both day vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Students are free to design the menus on a request to the Principal / Chief Warden.
Canteen is open from 7.30 am to 8.30 pm

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT FOR BOTH AND FACULTY AND STAFF
A.GENERAL
- College working hours is 8.50 AM to 5.00 PM.
- All staff has to mark their the attendance twice a day (8.45 AM – 9.00 AM in the FN 4.20 onwards in the AN)
- All staff members have to be in the Institute during working hours and follow the prescribed dress code.
- Faculty has to handle the theory, laboratory and other classes for the full duration.
- Board of Examination work is mandatory for all faculty.
- The appointment can be terminated with three calendar month’s notice by either side or payment of three month’s pay in lieu of notice period. Notice period must be co-terminus with the end of Semester.
- The promotion to higher cadre depends on Experience, Teaching, Research and satisfactory academic and related activities in the college.
- F. Contribution benefit to staff are being made regularly to the eligible Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff.
- Faculty are eligible for 12 days of leave per year in addition to government holidays.
- Faculty has to take leave with prior sanction for the HOD and Principal with proper alternate arrangement. Leave can be informed over phone only in case of emergency,
- Staff members can avail one hour permission twice a month. However such a facility is to be used only for essential needs.
- Lady faculty can avail 3 months of maternity leave.
- The faculties have to abide by the rules and regulations of the institutions framed from time to time for the effective functioning of the college.
B.CODE OF CONDUCT
- The staff members shall not engage themselves either directly or indirectly in conduct of any business, trade, running of educational institution, part time job in any other institution / organizations.
- The staff members shall not involve themselves in activities not related to their work, during working hours.
- The faculty members shall not engage in private tuition.
- Staff members are encouraged to take up consultancy projects, however, with the knowledge of the Management.
- The staff members are prohibited from accepting valuable gifts in any form from the students / parents / companies having business transactions with the college.
- The staff members shall not interfere in any matter not connected to their job requirement.
- The details of student feedback forms and performance appraisal reports given by the superiors shall be treated as confidential.
- All correspondence to the Management has to be routed through proper channel.
- All faculty should take active part in co-curricular and extra curricular activities.
- Faculty has to take active participation in conducting value added courses to students to enhance their employment potential.
- Faculty should continuously update their knowledge by attending Seminars / Workshops etc., and using library.
- Each teaching staff with teaching experience more than 3 years has to publish at least one technical paper per year. The technical papers may be an outcome of research/Student project work.
VACATION
- Teaching staff are normally eligible for four weeks of vacation per year and Non-teaching staff are normally eligible for two weeks of vacation per year.
- The Principal has the right to prevent any staff members from availing a portions or the whole of vacation if the services of the particular individual is considered essential.
- Only staff members who have completed 1 year of services, as on date of commencement of the vacation period, are entitled for vacation.
- No leave can be combined with the vacation. The staff member has to be present on the last working day prior to the vacation and also on the first working day after the vacation to become eligible to draw the vacation salary.
- Personal O.D.s will not be adjusted during the vacation in general. However Principal may permit based on genuine needs.
Notes:
Rules and regulations are published every year with necessary corrections. All employees are informed about the rules & regulations as and when it is necessary and is also made available in the website.
For students all rules and regulations are printed in the calendar and distributed every year.
Hostel
- Complete, hygienic and fully furnished hostel is provided by the management for both boys and girls separately. The rooms are safe, secure, clean and airy. The Students enjoy delicious, quality and homely vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Menu is prepared to satisfy the taste of all students. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a different life style and involve in activities such as yoga, meditation, sports, music etc., suiting to their individual taste and preferences.
- Deputy Wardens and resident tutors are available in both the hostels to look after the welfare of the students. The whole atmosphere is constituted in such a way that makes students to think, “What a wonderful life, I lead”.

Library
Facilities
The primary aim of the library is to support the student of the institution for education. The collection of the library includes Books, Journals, Magazines, Project report, Question Bank, Newspaper back files and other richest collection in the Fields of Management studies, Science and Technologies.
The library has a separate section for Audio Video Cassettes, CD-ROMS, Journals, Magazines, Internet services and Reference books like Bibliographies, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries etc. library is computerized using I-lib automation software, which helps the Students and Staff members to search any type of library documents. The Bar-coding technology is adopted with the software to speedup the circulation process.
Library contains over 15,575 volumes and around 1,600 titles covering all disciplines of Management studies, Science & Technologies. library currently subscribes 13 International Journals from Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Three International Journals from Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Three International from American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME), 13 International Journals from various Management Institutions in Worldwide and 24 National Journals.

Yoga is a holistic practice, which helps you gain overall balance and focus. Most students experience an increase in strength and flexibility, a decrease in stress levels and tension in the muscles, and a feeling of mental clarity and peace.
A spacious hall is maintained for doing Meditation and Asanas in a lush green peaceful environment. The yoga centre “Temple of Consciousness” was inaugurated by Thiru. SKM. Maeilanandhan and the College, with the aid of Erode Manavalakalai Trust, offers yoga classes for all the students and staff members.
