The department of Computer Engineering was established in 2001 and accredited by N.B.A. As our department is accredited by NBA, we will be

The department of Computer Engineering is committed to provide value-based education to its students and to develop the overall personality of the students by enhancing their creativity, self-confidence, assertiveness, communication and leadership skills.
The Computer Engineering department bring out HUMANE and astute technocrats and professionals who will be a disciplined positive force in all walks of life. Programmes are planned with the specific objective of imparting up-to-date knowledge, improving the skills and developing a better and positive attitude in students.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES
PO-1: Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering
fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
PO-2: Problem analysis: Identify and analyze well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
PO-3: Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with
the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
PO-4: Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.

Department of Computer Engineering and OZOTEC Pvt, Ltd., Coimbatore have signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) on August 20, 2025.
Department of Computer Engineering and C Cube Technologies, Erode have signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) on July 5, 2025.
STUDENT PARTICIPATION
Our department 9 girls students have participated in IIPA Erode Divisional KHO – KHO Tournament held at KSR Institute of Technology on September 16, 2025 and secured Runner position.
Our department 1 girl student have participated in IIPA Erode Divisional level Table Tennis Tournament (women) held at SSM Polytechnic, Komarapalayam on September 11 and 12, 2025 and secured Runner position.
Our department 4 students have participated in the state – level “U & Me Hackathon” organized by Edutantr in association with Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore on August 23,2025.
Our department 5 girls students have secured III place in IPAA Erode Divisional level Throwball (women) Tournament held at Shree Venkateshwara hi-tech Polytechnic College, Gobi on August 22, 2025.
Our department around 12 students have participated in Blood Donation Camp and LEO Club Installation program on August 22, 2025. Lion.V.Gopinath, MJF, District Leo Coordinator gave a special guest lecture.
Our department and Entrepreneurship Development cell, EDII-TN & Institutions Innovation Council organized from Idea to Enterprises: Igniting innovation, Entrepreneurship & IPR Awareness on August 12, 2025. Dr. K. Sasikumar (District Program Manager, MSME, Government of Tamilnadu), gave a special guest lecture. Our department around 30 students have participated.
Our department around 100 students have participated in Digital India Careers, Government Exam Roadmap on August 11, 2025. Ms Dharshni, Competitive exam trainerets, IAS Academy, Erode, gave a special guest lecture.
Our department 3 students have participated in Certificate of Appreciation Ceremony organised by Makkal Sinthanai Peravai on September 8, 2025. Thiru T. Stalin Kunasekaran, chairman, Makkal Sinthanai Peravai, gave a special guest lecture.

Our department second and third year 117 students have participated in Career Guidance Program on July 1, 2025. T.D.Santhi, District Employment Officer, Erode and Thiru K.Narendra Kumar, Young professional, Erode gave a special guest lecture.
Our students were participated in International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2025 was conducted by National Service Scheme (NSS) and Anti Drug Club on June 26, 2025.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT
Our department 96 students and 9 faculty members have visited Irohub infotech, Kochi on August 14,2025.

Our Students 114 members were participated in 14th Innovation Day organized by “Nandha College of
Technology” at perundurai on 06-02-2025 to 07-02-2025. 25 projects and 1 unique project are demonstrated.
Computer Engineering Students won Third Place & Cash Award(Rs.1000) for a Paper presentation held @Sankara Polytechnic College, Coimbatore on 01.02.2025.
Parents Meeting:
Computer Engineering Department were conducted “Parents Meeting” for all Ist, IInd and III rd Year students on 15/02/2025. 110 Students parents were participated.
