The department has all the facilities to promote sports and games among the sutdents. The total play ground is more than5 acres. State level and district level tournaments periodically held in the campus.

Programmes

Intramural

1. Encourages all the students to take part at various events providing all necessary playing equipments.
2. Conducting the intramural competitions and college annual sports meet are the regular features of the house.
3. Staff tournament are conducted regularly in outdoor games, indoor games and athletics.

Extramural

1. All the men and women teams are encouraged to take part in Anna University inter collegiate tournaments.
2. Our students are consistently winning the medals in intercollegiate Athletic meet.
3. Our students Participated in Erode district level first Division match.

2. National Service Scheme

Besides the academic activities our college inculcates service mindedness in the students by involving them in many social service activities. An NSS unit is functioning in our college for the past 5 years. Several camps in rural areas were organized to carryout social service activities.

3. Youth Red Cross

Youth Red Cross plays a vital role with the main aim to prevent and alleviate human sufferings, to encourage respect for other human beings and a willingness to work together to find solutions to community problem.
Young volunteers are made to contribute to meet the needs of the most vulnerable people within the local communicates. We adopt villages, wherein community activities like cleaning up streets, planting trees, creating environmental awarness and educating, illiterates are carried on. Apart from this, YRC also encourages community services through training, education and by conducting various camps.
